Trackords - Tracking Records
Terms of Service

Terms of Service

The rules for using Trackords. We have tried to keep them short and human-readable.

The short version

  1. Trackords is free and provided as-is.
  2. You own your data. You can export or delete it at any time.
  3. Don't do anything illegal with it or try to break it.
  4. We can suspend abusive accounts.
  5. Our liability is limited because this is a free service.

The rest is detail.

1. Who can use Trackords

Anyone over 16 years old (or your country's digital-consent age, whichever is higher) can create a Trackords account. By signing up you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to use the email address you register with.

2. What you can do with Trackords

Trackords is a free expiry-date tracker. You can use it for personal records, your family's documents, or your team's contracts, subscriptions and licenses. You can invite as many teammates as you like and assign each of them a role (admin, editor, viewer).

3. What you can't do with Trackords

You agree not to:

4. Your data

You own everything you put into Trackords. Our role is custodial — we store the data, scope it to your workspace, and email reminders. We never sell, rent or share user data with third parties. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.

5. The service is free

Trackords is free to use, with no credit card and no trial period. The free plan as it stands at the date below will remain free for existing users if we ever introduce a paid option. We make no promises about how long the service will be operational — see Section 7.

6. Account suspension and termination

We can suspend or terminate an account that:

You can terminate your own account at any time by emailing info@trackords.com. We will permanently delete your data within seven business days.

7. Availability and "as-is" disclaimer

Trackords is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available in any particular country or at any particular time. Email reminders may be delayed or fail to deliver due to upstream issues (mail server outages, recipient blocklists, etc.). Do not rely on Trackords as your sole source of truth for legally critical deadlines. Use it as a helpful reminder layer on top of your own diligence.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trackords and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost data, lost opportunity, missed renewals, or visa overstays. Because the service is free, we have no contractual obligation to make you whole for any such losses.

9. Changes to these terms

We can update these terms at any time. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage and announced via email to active users. The "Last reviewed" date below tracks when the current version was published.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes that cannot be resolved by email will be subject to the courts of the Netherlands.

11. Contact
